Do you have a story that fits the bill?

Big announcement! Giant Leap Accelerator has launched a film and television development program that will focus on discovering new Asian/Pacific American (APA) stories… and it is free to apply.

The accelerator pairs writers with industry mentors to package projects into production. The goal is to introduce more Asian American representation to a wide consumer audience. This is the industry’s first paid writing program for new, non-guild APA screenwriters.

They will accept seven writers who will spend three months their mentors creating their scripts, presentation decks, and sizzle reels. In the end, they will have a pitch day with studio, streamer, and network executives, independent producers, and investors.

The accelerator program launches with pitch day participants from 3AD, 20K, A-Major Media, Freeform, Hulu, MGM, NBCUniversal, Perfect Storm Entertainment, Red Hour Films, Macro, Miramax, Verve, and others!

That’s a huge deal and an excellent starting point for writers.
