On the previously reported L-mount event at the Photo & Imaging show in Shanghai 2023 Panasonic made several announcements:
Partnership with DJI (DJI was recently accepted as part of the L Mounr Alliance). The presentation materials show a LiDAR autofocus unit attached to a Panasonic camera – this rumor was reported last year:
New Panasonic S lens roadmap with two new entries:
- New zoom lens in the 30-70mm range (maybe 28-70mm f/2.8?)
- New zoom lens in the 100-400mm range
They also mentioned more in-depth cooperation, gimbal data communication, intelligent follow-up, and more:
