It’s rare that any piece of photographic equipment is versatile and affordable enough that I recommend it to everyone, but the GVM-600S Ring Light is one of those rare products. If you shoot photos or videos, you should buy this light.
For this next contest/critique, we want to see your best wide-angle photos. There is some debate as to what exactly “wide-angle” entails, but for the sake of this critique, we want to see images taken with a wider field of view than 23mm on a 35mm full-frame camera. It’s also extremely common to see wide-angle images taken of landscapes but we want to see perspective warping in your submissions. This means that at least one element of your shot needs to be fairly close to the camera.
For the next critique, we want to see your best telephoto images. Many photographers consider anything 85mm and beyond (on 35mm) to be telephoto but for the sake of this critique, we only want to see images taken at 200mm and beyond. Each user can submit up to 3 images. Please let us know what lens you used and the story behind the shot in the description section of your entries.
For this critique, we want to see your best “senior portrait.” In our latest competition (which will be released soon), both Pye and Patrick said my submission looked like a senior portrait, and they meant that as an insult. Show us what high-end senior portrait photography can be.
Each person is allowed up to 3 entries. The highest-rated image and one random image with both win a free tutorial from the Fstoppers Store.
I’d love to shoot the new Tesla Roadster, but being that it’s going to cost a quarter-million and it’s not even for sale yet, that wasn’t a possibility. I got the next best thing, the official Tesla Roadster diecast model.
